Now it's decided: The Travemünder Woche is cancelled for 2020 and with it our European Championship and our German Championship. The German championship - according to Corona - is relocated to Berlin on the 20th-23rd August .
The European Championship will not take place in 2021 due to the great temporal and spatial proximity to the 2021 World Cup in Tonsberg, Norway.
The German Class Association very much regrets that we cannot be hosts for Europe. But the protection of life takes precedence in these times. We'll talk to the International Class Association about what's going to happen next year.
The following plan is history:
The European Championship of 2.4mR 2020 is to be held together with the German Championship as part of the Travemünder Woche.
Baltic Sea Travemünde
July 21, 2020 Registration, measurement, opening ceremony
July 22-25, ten races
Passathafen on the Priwall.
Since there are not enough berths in the water, it is possible to crane out after the regattas one day. If you wish to do so, please indicate when you register.
Number of participants
The German Championship takes place as part of the overall event. The first three sailors of a DSV club are awarded by the German Sailing Association. That means in 2020 it is not an International German championship.
There is one registration portal for the European Championship as well as for the German Championship:
On the Priwall there are enough parking spaces for campers and apartments and holiday homes for rent that were only recently completed:
Anyone arriving by caravan or motorhome should also immediately find out about that Contact page register and enter "XNUMXmR" in the free field. Then all XNUMXers come together at the Priwall Kohlenhof.
